In the third quarter, the Fever would continue to maintain and extend the lead, and take an 87-67 lead into the final frame, the only quarter the Liberty would outscore the Fever was the fourth quarter when they would outscore the Fever 25-19 but they had already dug themselves to deep of a whole as the Liberty fell by a final score of 106-92 marking the 15th time the Fever have scored over 100 points which extends their WNBA record. The Fever shot a ridiculous 11-14 from the three-point line in the first half which set a record in Fever franchise history for highest 3 point percentage in a half at 79%. The Fever had 5 players score in double-figures, with 3 of their starters, and 2 of their bench pieces scoring in double digits led by Kelsey Mitchell who had 28 points on a ridiculously efficient 11-16 from the field, and 4-4 from beyond the arc, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds to go along with some stellar defensive plays which led to 2 steals, Caitlin Clark had 22 points on 7-15 from the field, and 4-8 from beyond the arc, 4 rebounds, and 10 assists which marks the ninth time that she has had over 20 points and 10 assists in the same game which sets a new single season WNBA record and breaks the record that she set in her rookie year when she had that statline 8 times, Aliyah Boston had 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, Monique Billings had 14 points, and Sophie Cunningham had 12 points on 4-5 from the field, and 4-5 from three.
